You may be involved with a number of projects at any one time
ranging challenging API based projects to custom web applications. We
also run several internal projects which you’ll have chance to provide
input and development for - this is where often experiment with new
ideas first. Ideally you should have at least one year PHP experience preferably in Cake PHP with
also the knowledge of best practices when working as a team on
projects. However, you will be given full technical assistance while
making technical decisions for projects.
Job Description:
Building applications in PHPthe scratch with the core PHP or CakePHP framework.
Extending existing Core PHP or CakePHP projects which may have been developed previously.
Writing developer documentation for projects we build for clients.
Desired Skills and Experience
PHP - Candidate should be a top-notch PHP developer, familiar with the latest features in PHP5.2.X and 5.3.X. Sound knowledge of Cake PHP is definitely an added advantage.
MySQL - Sound Knowledge is must
HTML/CSS/Javascript/AJAX - Expert level Javascript/HTML/CSS development will be necessary. JQuery experience preferred.
Sound knowledge of Linux and Shell Script
Good at data structures, algorithms.
Strong problem solving and debugging skills
Good verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment across multiple small and large scale projects.
