Junior Research Fellow:

Application with complete bio-data along with photocopies of mark  sheets, certificates and supportive documents are invited for one JRF/SRF to work in DBT Project entitled "Survey of endophytic fungi associated with some medicinal plants of North Eastern region and assessment of their effect on chemical profile biological activity as antimicrobial, aflatoxin inhibitors and antioxidant plants" (code no P-07-575) sanctioned  for a period of three years.

The tenure of the fellow will be co-terminus  with the scheme and the stipend payable will be Rs.16000/-pm (plus 20 %  HRA) and Rs 18000 pm (plus 20 % HRA). For JRF, the candidates must have M.Sc in Botany/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Environmental Science
with at least 55 per cent marks and have qualified NET / GATE. For SRF  the candidates should have at least two years research experience after passing M.Sc in Botany/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Environmental Science with at least 55 per cent marks and have qualified NET / GATE.

The upper age limit for JRF shall be 30 years and 32 years for SRF which is relaxable up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and women and physically handicapped categories. Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates as per G.O.I. rules. Applications should reach Prof. N. K.
