Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following temporary position for the sponsored project undertaken in the Department of Systems & Control Engineering of this Institute. The positions are temporary initially for a period of  1 Year  and tenable only for the duration of the project.

Position & Salary	Senior Project Research Scientist (1 Post ) Consolidated salary Rs.58000 – 78000/- p.m.
Qualification	Ph.D with 4 Years Experience M.Tech./M.E/M.Des. with 8 Years Experience B.Tech./B.E/M.A/M.Sc./M.CA/MBA or equivalent with 10 Years ExperienceEssential: Publications in international journals and conferences, supervision of student theses, participation in industrial research projects, organization of conferences, sessions, and panel discussions (all related to HPC area). Desirable: Considerable ability and experience in initiating and conducting HPC workshops.
Job Profile	Overall, expected to drive all activities of the CCOE. Some examples are: Setup active collaborations between CCOE and National research labs and Academic Institutes. Take technical ownership of identified research problems. Implement special projects as requested, e.g., write parallel algorithms for HPC and Big Data Analytics and implement using OpenCL and CUDA framework. Develop and maintain course materials for CCOE workshops.

 

Position & Salary	Project Research Assistant (1 Post ) Consolidated salary Rs.21000 – 31000/- p.m.
Qualification	B.E. / B. Tech in Computer Science, with minimum 1.5 years experience need only apply. Essential to have considerable knowledge of the following: parallel computing concepts like supercomputer architecture, principles of parallelization, efficiency, scalability, GPUs, CUDA, OpenCL, how to design a GPU supercomputing facility, how to develop an application software in Linux CENT OS or Ubuntu OS. In addition, must also have considerable collaborative skills, including the ability to interact well with vendors, and have good experience in coordinating with top OEMs for the configuration and design of supercomputing lab /facilities.
Job Profile	Compile and debug science and engineering applications. Identify and resolve system-level bugs.. Work with OEMs and vendors to resolve and implement systems or operational changes (e.g., queue policy) identified through the user interface. Install third-party applications and provide documentation for usage.

The appointment is for time bound project and the candidate is required to work mainly for the successful completion of the project. The selection committee may offer lower or higher designation and lower or higher salary depending upon the experience and performance of the candidate in the interview.
