Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (KELTRON), a premier Public Sector Undertaking in State Sector is on the lookout for personnel for maintenance/repair work of Instrumentation and Electronic equipment on Offshore Platform on contract basis as below:

General Conditions:
	Only online applications will be accepted.
	The selection process may include Certificate Verification, Written test/ Skill test, GD & Interview depending on the total number of eligible applicants. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process.
	Personnel with experience in maintenance/repair work of Electronic equipments will be given preference.
	After the initial screening process,selected candidates are to undergo one month training at Mumbai on safety courses required for doing offshore duty and also need to obtain Police Verification Certificate (PVC). Those candidates who have successfully completed the training and obtained Police Verification Certificate (PVC) only will be engaged on contract. KELTRON will issue offer letters to only those candidates who have passed the tests and depute them for offshore duty at ONGC platform.
	One month training is provided by Naval Maritime Academy (Mumbai) and course fee is Rs.14000/-.Training expenses are to be met by the candidates themselves. Those candidates who have successfully completed the training and engaged on contract basis will be reimbursed with 50% of the training fee
	The personnel engaged on contract will be normally placed at offshore platforms 14 days continuously and will get off-period for the next 14 days. (However a person will be relieved from offshore duty only on placement of substitute for next 14 days).
	Only male candidates need apply. (Gender specification due to nature of work)
	Communal rotation and age relaxation as per Kerala Public Service Commission norms/ Government orders will be applicable.This notification is for NCA vacancies and candidates from the above specified communities only need apply.
	SC/ST candidates have to produce caste certificate and OBC candidates have to produce Non-Creamy Layer Certificate for reservation purpose at the time of certificate verification.
	In case of false or insufficient information/proof to ascertain the eligibility of the applicant, their candidature will summarily be rejected at any stage of the selection process.
	Candidates are informed that mere submission of applications shall not give them any right to be called for interview/selection. Interview call letters will be sent to shortlisted candidates by post/e-mail. Management reserves the right not to fill up any or all the posts notified at its discretion and vacancies may also be increased depending upon organizational requirements.
	Management reserves the right to change the venue of interview, to cancel this notification and/or to limit the appointment to certain area.
