2. Filled in application together with Registration fee of Rs.500 /-(Rs.250 /- for SC/ST) in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore should be sent on or before 21.10.2013
3. Candidates are requested to fill the application in all respects.
4. Five copies of application shall be submitted to the Registrar, Bharathiar University,Coimbatore 641 046.

Qualifications :

1. An eminent scholar with Ph.D qualification(s) in theconcerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality,actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with aminimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
2. A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in University/College, and/or experience in research at the University/National level institutions/industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.
3. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology-mediated teaching learning process.
4. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator(API) based Performance Based Appraisal System(PBAS), set out in this Regulation in Appendix III of UGC regulations.

An outstanding professional, with established reputation in the relevantfield, who has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, to be substantiated by credentials.

• Proof of age with an attested copy of the first page of SSLC Book:
• Qualifications, degrees (with year / years of passing and University in which thedegrees were taken)
• Other academic distinctions, publications, if any
• Present occupation and salary with scale of pay
• Language with which the applicant is conversant together with copies of recent testimonials
• Names of two persons to whom a reference can be made.(candidates are advised to Xerox the copy of application form. Self designedapplication formats will not be entertained)
