    • Experience in having responsibility for the safe, efficient, cost effective and reliable operation and maintenance of large size power plants
    • Leading proactive and enthusiastic safety culture in the plant ensuring that all people working in the Plant will operate within safety and environmental guidelines
    • Working very closely with the Team and implementing the best O&M practices to bring a sustainable reliability of the Plant.
    •  Establishing, leading and lagging indicators for measuring the plant performance and setting the right targets / goals for O&M people.
    • Ensuring effective & efficient planning & execution of scheduled maintenance / annual outage and successful completion of such outages
    • Experience in Regulatory and Commercial issues including Electricity Trading, Budgeting, Liasoning with Local Government and State Utilities

    • At least 10 years experience in managing O&M function of a large size Thermal Power Plants is a must.
    • Out of 10 years, 5 years experience in the area of Combined Cycle – Gas Based Power Plants will be preferred. Preference will be given to experience with 9E and 9 FA machines.

    • Shall be responsible for development of environment protection standards and supervise adherence of those.
    • Responsible for getting requisite approvals from various Government departments on aspects of environment, health and safety.
    • Ensure successful completion of energy, quality and EHS audits and certifications of power generation and transmission activities both during implementation and O&M phases.
    • Shall be responsible for training and development on quality and EHS aspect, across functions.
    • Shall be responsible for monitoring the statutory compliance, safety inspection, accident handling & reporting and MIS related to EHS aspects
    • Prepare the companies response to the queries and notices issued by Government departments on aspects of EHS.
