Avaya Hiring Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will work as part of a highly motivated and professional team developing and/ or supporting software that is based off of the Atlassian tools. This includes Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, and Crucible. 
• Build/Release engineer for Avaya's flagship product.
• The work may include learning and understanding requirements and technical specifications of the development community and surround. Will work with multinational team to determine the ideal new environment for Avaya's flagship software product.
• The developer is responsible for design, development, unit test and delivery of their software and will also apply their knowledge and skills to identify and resolve a wide variety of day-to-day technical and logistical issues. He/she should be able to present technical information clearly, and should be flexible in responding to change in a fast-paced environment. Should also be open to feedback from the wider community to improve the tools and environment.

Requirements: 

• B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/M.C.A degree in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Familiarity with development environments, Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, and Crucible )and Subversion desired
• Knowledge of Perl, Python, Java and Javascript
• Knowledge of UNIX or Linux environments
• Experience with database concepts desired 
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Team player with excellent verbal and written communications skills
