Assistant Professor & More Vacancies:

Applications with full bio-data from Indian citizens are invited for the following posts at Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati-781016.

1. Assistant Professor (Pathology) (regular post) . 1 (one)
2. Demonstrator (Pathology) (regular post) (subject to vacancy) .. 1 (one)
3. Medical Physicist (regular post) .. 1 (one)

Eligibility:

For the post of Assistant Professor (Pathology):

1. For the candidates possessing MD degree from M.C.I. recognized medical college. Three years teaching experience in the subject as Resident / Registrar /Demonstrator / Tutor in a recognized medical college either during the postgraduation course or after obtaining postgraduate degree in the subject.
2. For the candidates possessing DNB qualification from MCI recognized medical colleges / central institutes where there are no MD/MS courses running. Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized medical college either during the DNB course or after possessing DNB qualification. The concerned candidate would also require one year of additional teaching / research experience in the concerned subject in a recognized medical college after obtaining DNB qualification.
3. For the candidates possessing DNB Qualification from MCI recognized medical colleges / central institutes where there are MD / MS courses running Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized medical college either during the DNB course or after obtaining DNB qualification.
4. For the candidates possessing DNB qualification from Centers other than of MCI recognized medical colleges / central institutes. Three years teaching experience in the subject either during the DNB course or after possessing DNB qualification. The concerned candidate would require two years additional teaching experience as sr. Resident / Research Associate (CSIR) in a MCI recognized medical college / central institute."

For the post of Demonstrator (Pathology):

1. PG Degree in Pathology. Candidates with experience in Oncology will be given preference.

For the post of Medical Physicist :

1. M.Sc in Physics with DRP or M.Sc in Medical Physics / Radiological Physics from
2. recognized university. Candidates who are going to complete one year compulsory internship within next 6 (six) months can also apply.
3. The candidate for the above posts must be registered with the Medical Council of Indian States / Union Territories. Preference will be given to the candidate having working experience in the respective fields in recognized institutions.

Pay scale:

1. For the post of Assistant Professor: AICTE pay scale Rs.15600-39100 + Rs.7000/-(AGP) per month + NPA + applicable allowances.
2. For the post of Demonstrator: AICTE pay scale Rs.15600-39100 + Rs.6000/-(AGP) per month + NPA + applicable allowances.
3. For the post of Medical Physicist: Pay Band (PB-4) Rs.12000-40,000 + Rs.6300 (GP) per month + applicable allowances.

interview.

The interview will be held on 30.04.2014 at 1:00 PM in the Conference Hall of the Administrative Block of the Institute. The list of eligible candidates will be published in the BBCI website www.bbcionline.org (bulletin section) and no separate calling letter for appearing in the interview will be issued.

The Management of Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute will not be responsible for rejection of applications due to late postal delivery.
The date and time of interview will be intimated to the eligible candidate in due course of time. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
