Details of Post : Technical Assistant/ Machinist/Turner: A walk in interview for the appointment (on contract basis) of Technical Staff (Technical Assistant- 1 no. & Machinist/Turner- 2 nos.) for a DRDO research project in NIT Calicut. Technical Assistant – 1 No. (on contract basis):



Qualification: A B.Tech. degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering related streams with or without experience OR Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering related streams with a minimum of 1 year of experience. Experience: In management of component fabrication and operation of various shop floor machines, design and fabrication of components, hands on experience with one or more of the Drafting/Analysis software such as AutoCAD, ProE, Ansys, Solidworks, Catia etc. preferred. Consolidated Pay: Rs. 20,000/- per month Machinist/Turner – 2 Nos. (on contract basis)



Qualification: A Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering related streams with or without experience. OR ITI Trade Certificate or its equivalent in echanical/Production Engineering related streams with a minimum of 1 year of experience. Experience In fabrication of components and operation of various shop floor machines. Consolidated Pay: Rs. 14,000/- per month Interested candidates may appear for a skill test and personal interview with all original certificates at 9.00 a.m. on 05.05.2014 at CASC, Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIT Calicut. A set of copy of original certificates and Bio Data should be handed over. Those are appearing for the post of Machinist/Turner may have to stay back for one more day to complete the trade test.
