JRF/Project Assistant level II/Project Assistant level III

1. Total Posts: 5
2. Qualifications: M. Sc. in chemistry with minimum 55% marks for all posts. For PA-III: minimum 2 years research experience with one publication is required. For Project JRF, NET-LS/GATE is required.
3. Fellowship (consolidated): For PA-III: 14,000/-pm & 16000/-pm for NET-LS/GATE qualified candidate. For PA-II: Rs.12000/- pm and Rs.14000/- pm for NET-LS/GATE qualified candidates.
4. Age:Maximum 32 years for PA-III and 28 years for PA-II as on the date of interview. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rule.
5. Job description For PA-III and 3 of PA-II: Development of molecular sensor/extractant for selective extraction of commercially important metal ions – experimental and computational study under CSIR Network project and supra-institutional project (SIP). For 1 of the PA-II: Functional modification of polysaccharides to generate new materials under the CSIR funded Emeritus Scientist project.
6. Duration of project: The Network and SIP projects will continue till March, 2017 and CSIR funded Emeritus Scientist project for three years (initially). However, initial appointment for all posts is for one year and then it will be renewed annually subjected to satisfactory performance

This is required for verification. 2. Original Experience Certificates, Testimonials etc. 3. In case you are employed in a Government/Semi-Government or Autonomous Organization, you should bring with you a No Objection Certificate from your present employer. Otherwise, you will have to give a declaration that at present you are un-employed.
