3. Age : Candidates age limit should be 18-45 years as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.
4. Qualification: Candidates should possess Matric or its equivalent from a recognized Board of School Education/ Institution for Sr.No:1 Post, Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or its equivalent from a recognized University for Sr.No:2 Post, 10+2 or its equivalent from a Board of School Education/ University recognized by the HP Govt for Sr.No:3 Post, Matric or its equivalent with ITI certificate in Electrician trade for Sr.No:4,6 Posts, Matric with ITI certificate in Wireman/ Electrician trade for Sr.No:5 Post, Matriculation or its equivalent with ITI certificate for Sr.No:7 Post, Diploma/ Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering from an Institution recognized by the State Government/ Central Govt for Sr.No:8 Post. For other Posts Qualification refer Notification.

Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of objective type screening test, interview, skill test, Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Standard Test.

Application Form: Candidates may obtain application forms in all the post offices/ sub post offices of Himachal Pradesh The cost of application form is 360/- for General Category Candidates and 120/- for reserved categories.
