Job Details Post Name : Sports Person Qualification/Educational Criteria :  Candidates who wish to apply for this post must posess the following skill and criteria: Qualified 10th (Matriculation) / 12th (HSC) / Graduate Degree in any subject / equivalent qualification from a recognized University or College. Age Limit (in yrs) :  Interested candidates who are appearing for this post should have the age of 18 to 25 years as on 01/01/2016.

Pay Scale/Salary(in Rs.) :  Selected candidates would be eligible to get the pay scale of around Rs.5,200 to 20,200/- per month. Examination Fee :  Application Fees have to Rs.100/- for Unreserved (General) category candidates. Exempted fees for Reserved (SC / ST / OBC)category candidates through IPO which must be drawn in favor of Western Railway Sports association, Mumbai. View More Details   About Western Railway Western Railway in its present form came into existence on 05/11/1951 by the merger of its forerunner, the erstwhile Bombay, Baroda and Central India Railway, with other State Railways viz, Saurashtra, Rajputana and Jaipur. The BB&CI Railway was itself incorporated in 1855, starting with the construction of a 29 mile broad gauge track from Ankleshwar to Utran in Gujarat state on the West Coast. In 1864, the railway was extended up to Mumbai.  The Got. of India took over the management of the BB&CI railway from 1.1.1942. In 1949, the Gaikwad Baroda State Railway was merged with the BB&CI Railway.
