Essential Qualification:

Candidates should possess Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from recognized Board or University or equivalent with good academic records against CISF Advertisement.

Age Limitation (As On 28.02.2017):

Age of candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years including for the candidates of North East region. Relaxation in age will be given to the reserved candidates as per the norms of Central Industrial Security Force.

Salary Details:

After selection, candidates will get impressive amount of salary of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade pay of Rs.2800 + allowance as per applicable and declared by Central Government from time to time in the Central Industrial Security Force.

Application Fee:

• Candidates need to pay application fee of Rs. 100/- in the form of Postal Order.
• Fee is exempted for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, women and Ex-servicemen.

Method of Selection for CISF Recruitment:

• Selection of candidates will be done on basis of their performance in Written Examination, Physical Standard Test, Skill Test Norms On Computer, Medical Examination after screening of application. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the test
• Final selection of the candidates will be made from the candidates those found fit in the medical examination strictly according to merit and availability of vacancies.

Scheme of Written Examination:

• There will be an Objective Type Question Paper and it contains 100 questions of 100 marks.
• The duration of exam is of 02 hours.
• Question Paper containing questions on General Intelligence, General Studies/Elementary science, General English or Hindi and Arithmetic.

Skill Test Norms on Computer:

• The duration of Shorthand Dictation is of 10 minutes.
• For a dictation of 10 minutes there will be about 800 words @ 80 words per minute for dictation and subsequent typing.
• The time for transcription will be 50 minutes in English and 65 minutes in Hindi on computer.

Detailed Medical Examination and Review Medical Examination:

• After qualifying the Skill Test, candidates will be called for Detailed Medical Examination to assess their fitness.
• Review Medical Examination in respect of candidates who have found unfit in Detailed Medical Examination to assess their fitness.
