ISRO Recruitment 2013 Notification Announced - Apply Now

Introduction: The Indian Space Research Organization of India is one of the top scientific and space research organization in the world. ISRO comes under the department of space, Government of India. With a motto of space technology in the service of Mankind, space activities have been started in year 1960 in the leader ship of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai. Objective of ISRO is to develop space technology and its application for various national tasks under the supervision of space commission that formulates and oversees that implementation of Indian space program. ICRB i.e. ISRO Centralized Recruitment Board is responsible to fill vacancies on various posts especially of scientists annually through its recruitment process.
       

ISRO Recruitment 2013 drive details

As per its annual recruitment process ICRB inviting applications for the post of SCIENTIST/ENGINEER in organization through advertisement number ISRO HQ: ICRB: 01:2013 Dated 12-02-2013. These posts are divided among Scientist/engineer SC – Electronics, Scientist/engineer SC – Mechanical and Scientist/engineer SC – Computer Science. All these pots are temporary and provisional that may vary according to actual requirement. Selected candidates will be appointed on pay scale of Rs.15,600 – 39,100 with Grade pay of Rs.5400. also candidates will be given various allowances including HRA, TA etc depending on conditions prescribed as per notification and Government rules. Every selected candidate will be eligible for New Pension Scheme.
   

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification

• Candidates applying for these posts should have a degree of BE/B.Tech or equivalent with aggregate 65% marks. Also candidates who are slated to complete their degree in 2012-13 can apply subject to condition that they should be awarded their final degree before 31-8-2013. 

Age Limit

• Maximum age limit for these posts is 35 Years as on 04-03-2013. However, age in relaxation for Ex-servicemen, PWD and any other will be given as per Government reservation rules.

How to Apply for ISRO Recruitment 2013

Only online application will be accepted for this current opening. Candidates need to visit website www.isro.gov.in for filling up their online application form. These applications can be filled from 12-02-2013 to 04-02-2013. 
  
After filling application form on website, candidates will be given online registration number. It is required to preserved registration ID for future reference. Also candidates are required to provide correct email ID for correspondence.
  
After successful registration, candidates required to print challan form and deposit fee amount of Rs.100 in any Branch of State Bank Of India. One copy of challan after making payment to bank should be sent and reached before 11-03-2013 at address Sr. Administrative Officer (ICRB), ISRO Headquarters, Antariksh Bhavan, New BEL Road, Bangalore -560 094 through post by super scribing on the envelope "ICRB - RECRUITMENT OF SCIENTIST/ENGINEER 'SC'.

Selection Process
Based on academic qualification, bio data an initial screening will be made for short listing of candidates who have applied for these posts. There after a written exam will be conducted followed by interview for final selection of Scientists/engineers. Center of written examinations are: Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.
  
The written examination will be conducted on 05-05-2013 at these centers. Call letters to shortlisted candidates will be sent on their email ID. Candidates who will qualify written examination will be called for interview. Schedule and venue of interview will be notified later on.
