Assam Gramin Vikash Bank is a joint undertaking of Government of India, Govt of Assam and United Bank of India. Apart from banking services, AGVB also involve in various kinds of activities to promote employment and training especially in rural areas. This training program of AGVB in rural areas creates vacancies for eligible candidates in institutes and basic infrastructure of training facilities for rural people to provide them self employment after training.
AGVB wide notification dated 19-02-2013 invites application from eligible candidates to fill various vacancies on the post of Faculty, Office assistant and attender for its Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (AGVB-RSETIs). Vacancies are on contractual basis.
There are 10 vacancies for post of faculty (inhouse). The selected candidates on post of faculty will earn remuneration of Rs.500 per day (approximately Rs.15000/ month). 5 vacancies are for post of Offcie assistant. The selected candidate on this post will received salary of Rs.10000/month approx. Attender (5 Posts) will be paid Rs. 5000 per month. These vacancies are for AGVB-RSETIs in districts Sonitpur, Bongaigaon, Jorhat, Kamrup & Kamrup (Metro). For roles, duties and responsibilities of each post, candidates can refer to notification.
Educational qualification and experience (For post of Faculty) –
Candidates applying for the post of faculty should be Post Graduate in
MSW/MA in rural development or MA in Sociology/Psychology. Degree in
B.Sc (Agri)/ BA with B.Ed., ( from a recognized university )will be also
considered as minimum qualification as required for this post. An
experience of 5 years in rural banking along with computer knowledge is
necessary for candidates apply as faculty.
Educational qualification for post of Office Assistant – Candidates for this post need to have a degree in BSW/BA/B.Com from a recognized university along with basic accounts and computer knowledge.
Educational qualification for post of Attender- Minimum qualification for the post of attender is matriculation.
Selection process: An interview will be held for selection of candidates. Candidates will be shortlisted on basis of their application and detailed scrutiny of documents submitted by them. Only those candidates who meet out the criteria, of age, educational qualification, experience etc will be called for interview. A call letter will be sent to shortlisted candidates on their email Id or address. The selected candidates will be on contract for a period of 12 months. AGVB will provide job according to requirement of RSETIs to selected candidates.
