Sportsmen who have qualifying degrees or certificates from the following recruitment zones are eligible for the posts: recruitment zone of Gujarat, Daman and Diu has its office at Ahmedabad. Bangalore office has its recruitment zone as Karnataka. Chhattisgarh and the State of Madhya Pradesh has its office at Bhopal. Chandigarh office is meant for recruitment zone of Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh and Haryana. Chennai office represents recruitment zone of Tamil Nadu and that of Pondicherry. Guwahati office represents Assam, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, and Meghalaya. Recruitment zone of Andhra Pradesh has its office at Hyderabad. Jaipur office is for the zone of Rajasthan. Jammu office is for recruitment zone of Jammu & Kashmir. Maharashtra, Goa, Dadra & Nagar Haveli zone has its office at Mumbai. Nagpur office represents Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha Region in Maharashtra. New Delhi represents zonal area of Delhi and Haryana. Eligibility Criteria
- Sportsperson who has represented his country at State level
or district level may apply for the above mentioned vacancies. A student
who has represented his school at State level or National level may
also apply. A fit person should apply for the above posts.
- Age as on first of March, 2013 should be not below 18 years
or above twenty six years. A candidate belonging to SC or ST category
can have age relaxation up to five years. This is allowed up to 31
years. OBC class is allowed three years relaxation. Such candidates
should not be above twenty nine years.
- Qualification as required by an applicant for the post of an
Assistant is at least a bachelor’s degree. The degree should be from a
recognized university or board which is recognized.

All candidates who pass the eligibility test are called for a trial selection. Qualifying candidates will be eligible for qualifying interview. The whole of selection procedure will only be conducted at the above mentioned offices which fall under the recruitment zone. Final word from selection Board of RBI will decide the name of the selected candidate. Selected candidates will be included in the waiting list. Character, medical fitness, sports certificates and other verifications are deciding factors for the final candidate list for the posts.

Age Limit: RBI decide age limit of 35 years. In case of upper age limit 3 years can be adjusted.
Educational qualification:
Degree in law is necessary for applying. Candidate should have bachelor’s degree in law with minimum 50% marks.

Application Fee:

Selection Procedure:
