Union public service commission (UPSC) has issued notification for recruitment of candidates on various administrative posts throughout India. Notification date 5-03-2013 requires application from eligible candidates to apply only for preliminary examination only to be held on 26th may 2013.

For each posts, candidates require to qualify preliminary examination.
Educational Qualification
Selection of candidates will based on preliminary examination, mains examination and interview.
First candidate require to qualify preliminary examination to become eligible for mains examination. Preliminary exam will consist of 2 compulsory papers of 200 marks each. Question paper will contain objective type questions. Candidates required to use black pen to fill circles on OMR sheet of preliminary examination. However, maximum marks in 7 papers of mains examination and interview is (1800+275) 2075. Marks of preliminary examination will not be taken into account while preparing final selected candidates list. Preliminary examination need to qualify by candidates only and merit list will be prepared accordingly to qualify for mains examination.
Application will be filled online only on website of UPSC i.e. http:// www.upsconline.nic.in. Candidates required to visit website and read instruction to fill application form. Last date of application submission is 4th April 2013. After successful submission of form candidates will be able to download admit card. Admit card or e-admission certificate will be available to download from website [www.upsc.gov.in] from 3 weeks before examination. No admit card will be sent by UPSC to candidates through post.

- Candidate should have minimum age of 21 Years and maximum 30 years as on1-08-2013. Relaxation in age will be provided to candidates of reserved category as per government rules
Educational Qualification
- Minimum qualification required from candidates is a bachelor degree from any recognized university, college or institute or having an equivalent degree.
