Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who are willing to fill TANCET Application Form they must satisfy the below given eligibility criteria:

MCA	Pass Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) with mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduate level. Obtained at least 50% (45% marks in case of reserved category).
MCA (lateral Entry)	Pass Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) in BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT) with mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduate level. Secure at least 50% (45% marks in case of reserved category).
ME/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan	Pass Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Obtained at least 50% (45% marks in case of reserved category). GATE Valid Score Card

Application Fee:

Candidates who are willing to apply for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test thy must have to pay the following amount of application fee.

• General and OBC Category: Rs.500/-
• SC /SCA /ST Category: Rs.250/-

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected to get admission in M.B.A., M.C.A. & M.E./ M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan. Degree Programmes on the basis of their marks and rank obtained in Entrance Examination followed by Counseling Procedure. Candidates must have to perform well in the examination to get admission.

Exam Pattern:

• The duration of the entrance exam will be 2 hours.
• For each correct answer 1 mark will be given to the candidates.
• For incorrect response, 1/3 mark will be deducted.
• The entrance exam of MBA & MCA will be conducted on the same date but in different time.
• The entrance exam of ME/M.Tech/M.Arch/ M.Plan will be held on separate dates.

Hall Ticket:

All the candidates who had applied for the examination they shall download their hall tickets from the Official website of the Anna University before the examination.

If the hall ticket lost after the test, a duplicate hall ticket can be obtained on payment of ` 100/- in the form of a Demand Draft, with a written request to The Secretary, Anna University, Chennai – 600 025, indicating the Registration No. / Application No. and the name of the Examination Centre.
