Gujarat High Court Recruitment 2013


Out of 21 high courts in India, Gujarat high court has established itself as a prestigious judiciary body. The Gujarat high court was established in 1960 under Bombay reorganization Act 1960. It is highest court in Gujarat state having jurisdiction over Gujarat. There are various vacancies on posts as mentioned below

Gujarat High Court Recruitment 2013 Notification Details

High court of Gujarat at Sola, Ahmedabad through its advertisement number NO.RC/1434/2011 invites application from eligible candidates to fill up vacancies on posts of English and Gujarati stenographers and assistants (junior clerks) in the subordinate courts of the Gujarat.
  
There are total 2407 posts. Out of 2407 posts 58 posts are for English Stenographer Grade – I (Class-II), 123 posts are for English Stenographer Grade – II (Class-III), 64 posts of Gujarati Stenographer Grade – I (Class-II), 78 posts for Gujarati Stenographer Grade – II (Class-III) and 2084 posts for Assistant (Junior Clerk) (Class - III). These posts are divided among reserved and unreserved categories. Pay scale Grade – I is Rs. 9300-34800 with grade pay Rs. 4600, Grade – II Rs. 9300-34800 with grade pay Rs. 4400 and for assistant Rs. 5200 -20200 with grade pay Rs. 1900.
 

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit
  • Minimum age of candidates should be 18 years as on 20-03-2013. Also candidates applying for post of Assistant (Junior clerk) should not be more than of 25 years in age. For other posts maximum age limit is 35 years. Relaxation in age to reserved candidates will be given as per Government rules.
Educational qualification :
  • Candidates applying should have a graduate degree in any discipline from recognized university to qualify minimum educational qualification criteria except for assistant junior clerk. Applicants of Assistant (junior clerk posts) should have S.S.C or equivalent certificate. Also candidates need to have typing speed (WPM) in English and Guajarati as per each posts requirement. Selection Process
Selection of candidates will be made through competitive examination. These exams include objective type written test of 100 Marks, Practical/skill test 50 Marks and Viva-Voce test of 50 Marks. Each candidates require to qualify written exam, practical test and Viva. Candidate failing to secure 40% marks in viva will not be shortlisted in final merit. Merit will be prepared of selected candidates according to their performance and reservation category.
 

Application Procedure for Gujarat High Court Recruitment 2013

 Applicants need to fill online application for each posts. Candidates need to visit website www.gujarathighcourt.nic.in or http://hcrec.guj.nic.in:8080 for filling application online. Before start filling application form, candidates need to download cash voucher to make application fees payment in state bank of India branch in account number Account No.30725811785. Fees for reserved category candidate is Rs. 250 whereas for other candidates it is Rs.500. After making payment to concerned account and bank candidates can fill their application form. All details including valid email should be filled correctly to avoid any delay. After successful submission of form, candidates should take printout of system generated online form for future use. Application can be filled until last date 20-03-2013. No any other mode of applications will be accepted.
